Not getting ideas about what to write. Because last few days I wrote about all the topics I got within last 7 days! No problem. Today we can discuss about creating backlinks - an essential part of SEO. 

What is back link actually? It's just your site's link on other sites. Your links maybe on other sites' comment, post, link list etc. When other sites have your link on them search engines consider your site as important one. 

The sites with higher backlinks get the priority while showing in the search result. But search engines' policy change very often. Couple of months ago Google decides to rank the sites best on their contents. That means they said they will consider the quality of the contents of a site. 

Whatever the case is you should try to build up links on higher PR sites. And at the same time your content must be good, unique and interesting too. 

Now I will talk about few easy ways for creating backlinks. Yeah it's simple. But time consuming. 
  • Commenting: You can comment on other sites like blog, website, forum etc with your site's link. Make sure your comment is relevant, useful and attractive. 
  • Creating Accounts: Many websites let their users create an account with their own URL. So when you create web accounts make sure to include your URL there if you've that opportunity. 
  • Posting: There are many websites, blogs and forums where you can write. While writing on other sites try to relate your topic with your site's contents. And try to create link. If your post is popular you will get a good number of visitors as bonus! 
  • Submission: Submit your site in different free submission site. If your site's link is found in those sites it will be considered as backlinks. 

These are the main ways to create links or backlinks. There are many other ways. But they are nothing but the variations of the above methods.

Above system is for the blog or websites. This is called HTML anchor text. But if you'd like to create anchor text for the forum then follow this system:

  3. You should write: [url=http://munnamark.blogspot.com]Marks PC Solution[/url] 
This is known as BB code anchor text. 

If you can successfully create anchor text you will only see http://fatemayesmen.blogspot.com. When someone click on it he will be directed to the URL of Marks PC Solution. 

Finally, you should know that, backlink is not only important for search engines but also important to drive traffic in your site!

Use Alexa Toolbar Get Higher Ranking on Alexa !!


Alexa is a popular ranking site. The main feature of Alexa ranking is that, it ranks the sites from 1 to last. Just few months ago, Google was top in the alexa ranking. But few days ago it loses its first position to Facebook

Though alexa ranking doesn't matter much for a site. But day by day alexa ranking is getting importance. Sometimes it is very difficult to compare some sites if they have same Page Rank in Google. But in alexa ranking there is no chance to get same position. 




When you use Alexa Toolbar in your browser (only Firefox, Google Chrome and IE) it sends data to their server. It measures how much time do you spend on a site. And how much time you gave on that site. It also shows you the ranking of a website in search result. 


It measures the rank of a site based on: 
  • How much time a person spend on a site
  • How much pageviews does he made
  • How many people visit the site within a particular time
  • From where the visitors come to the site 
All of the above data are collected by Alexa Toolbar. So if you visit your site with Alexa Toolbar installed on your browser, then I can guarantee that your alexa ranking will increase significantly. 

Suppose your alexa ranking is 20500000. If you use alexa toolbar and browse your site your ranking will be less than 300000 !! And if some of your friend visit your site with alexa toolbar, your ranking will be less than 10000 !

Guidelines before and after Getting AdSense!





This topic might be very useful for those who wanna place AdSense Ad in their websites or blogs. In this post I'm giving you some guidelines that maybe useful for you to get Adsense and to maintain it after getting this. 

If you carefully follow these guidelines, it will be easier for you to earn some cash from Adsense. Otherwise you may suffer just like me! Regular visitor of this site should know that I've already rejected 4 times from AdSense Program! And waiting to be rejected for the 5th time! 

Let's start our AdSense concern. AdSense provide a specific set of rules for publishers. You can find it here- AdSense Program Policy. But very few of them read this carefully and consequently they suffer and lose their account. 

So I will try my best to make the rules clear to you. Let's start. 


To Get AdSense (Before getting Ad): 

  • Your site must be easy to navigate. And it should be user friendly. 
  • It shouldn't contain any types of illegal, matured, adult or violent contents.
  • It shouldn't redirect users to unwanted websites.
  • It shouldn't contain any copyrighted material.
  • It shouldn't contain any types of hacking, cracking or gambling related contents.
  • It shouldn't contain any 
  • Don't place any third party Ads (Although AdSense allow this)
  • Your site should have sufficient visitors. But make sure that it doesn't get traffic only from a certain source. And never participate any paid-to-click program to increase your site traffic. 
  • And finally try to publish the unique contents that drives more traffic. 


After Getting AdSense- Be Careful 
  • The very first thing you need to do after getting AdSense is to be careful. Because your AdSense account maybe disabled at any time! 
  • Never click your own Ads. And not a single click to test. 
  • Never encourage others to click the Ads by any means.
  • Never try to make artificial clicks.
  • Place the Ads in a way so that it does't disturb the visitors.
  • The Ads should be distinguishable from your site's contents.
  • And finally follow all the rules that you did before getting AdSense.

Claim Your Site in Alexa: Increase your Ranking!




A common tendency of bloggers and web masters is to increase their sites' ranking. The most popular ranking system is Google Page Rank. A page is ranked from 0 to 10 in Page Rank system. 

And another method is getting popularity day by day. Yes, I'm talking about Alexa Traffic Rank.  This ranking system still not as popular as Page Rank. But in the future it will be very popular. Couple of days ago I wrote about the importance of using Alexa Toolbar

And today I'm gonna show how to claim a site on Alexa. Definitely, if you claim your site in Alexa, it will give you a higher ranking in return! 

Okay let's start our mission. 
  1. At first create an account on Alexa following the normal rules as you usually do. 
  2. Now follow this link to claim your site
  3. Type your home page URL (ie. http://munnamark.blogspot.com)  in the Get Started box and hit on Claim Your Site.  
  4. Now you will get the sign up option. Choose the Free option. 
  5. There will be 2 options. Follow any method that is suitable for you. 
  6. Then hit on Verify button. 
If you are facing problem to verify then read more about the 2nd option. 

Option 2: (Tutorial for blogger)
  • Sign in to your blog and go to the design.
  • Hit on the Template button from the left panel.
  • Click on Edit HTML and proceed.
  • Now copy the verification ID you got from option 2. Your ID will be looks like this-  1EQnm0p93wIjUt6s49kputZxfXQ
  • Paste this ID anywhere in the head section as the image shows below. 
  • To find the </Title> press Ctrl+F and type </title> then search.


Place Alexa Traffic Widget on Your Site- Get Higher Ranking!

And in this post I wanna tell something about Alexa Traffic Widgets. If you're a regular visitor of blogs and websites you might notice some widgets than shows Alexa Traffic Rank of that site. But this widget doesn't only show the ranking of that site. It does something more . . .

Sign in your Blogger Account > Design > Layout > Add a Gadget > HTML/ JavaScript > Paste the above code in the content box > Save > View or Blog.  

Don't forget to replace the URL http://www.munnamark.blogspot.com with your site's home page URL. 


Measure Your Site's Speed with Google Page Speed




Page speed is an important factor to increase the traffic of a site. Survey shows that most of the people ignore the sites that takes more than 3 seconds to load. Though the loading time depends mostly on the net speed. But excessive use of flash, JavaScript, Images can down the speed of any page even on a fast network. 

In this post I'm gonna tell you how can you measure your site's speed. There are several methods. As a standard way, I'm talking about Google Developers.


Let's test the speed now.
  1. Visit this page- Page Speed
  2. Now type your site's URL in the box (ie. http://munnamark.blogspot.com) and hit the analyze button. 
  3. Within few seconds you will get the result as below: 
The page Marks PC Solution got an overall PageSpeed Score of 94 (out of 100).



With this report, you will get some tips about how to optimize your site's loading time. Here are some tips to speed up your side: 
  • Avoid unnecessary Java Scripts.
  • Try to use compressed images.
  • Try to avoid flash contents if possible.
  • Do not place any unnecessary gadgets in the page

Add Facebook Like & Send Button After Each Post Title!



Earlier I showed How to Add a Pop Out Facebook Like Box in Side Bar. And in this post I'm gonna show how to add the Facebook like and send button after each post title. All you've to do is just add a small code in your blog template. 

If you do this, it will be easier to share your blog post with your friends. And you can also post it in your wall without visiting your page! And it will also allow you to share posts by email IDs of your friends. So you shouldn't miss this trick. 
  1. Sign in into your blogger account. 
  2. Then go to Design > Template > Edit Html. (Backup your template if you're new user)
  3. Check the box Expand Widget Template. 
  4. Press Ctrl+F and search for <data:post.body/>
  5. Now copy and paste the following code before  <data:post.body/> 
  6. Now save your template and see the result!

NB: This code may be worked for any other websites other than blogger. Just copy and paste the code in the perfect place. 

You can customize this code too- 
  1. If you place this code after <data:post.body/>  this tag then the like and send button will be displayed after the blog post rather than the title. 
  2. Look at the the width="500". You can change the size too. You can use 450 or 550 instead of 500. 

Add Print as PDF button in Your Blog!



Sometimes your blog or website reader may wanna save the post as PDF. Or they may want to print it. And there are many free tools to add Save as PDF button. But the problem is that, most of the free tools doesn't allow you to remove the background images of your site. I mean this is not print friendly. As a result whole web page is saved. And this is very irritating. 

Today I'm sharing a code that is free from this problem. It allows you to save only the sentences with related image. Let's try this- 
  1. Sign in into your blog. Then go to design.
  2. From the left panel, hit on the Layout button.
  3. Now click on Add a Gadget.
  4. Choose HTML/ JavaScript.
  5. Now copy and paste the following code into the Content Box.
  6. Save the gadget and view your blog to see the change!

If you wanna place the button at the left side then replace the red colored words as- float:left. And if you are expert in coding like html, CSS, then you can easily place this code anywhere you want.

How to Create a Custom Toolbar for Website

A customized toolbar of your blog or website may increase visitors loyalty. If they found your toolbar useful they can use it in browser. And this is also important for your site's ranking. There may be hundred ways to build a toolbar. Some of them are free or some may be premium. 

For creating toolbar, my personal choice is Alexa. Why? 
  • Because it's free and easy to use. 
  • You can easily monitor the usage statistics. 
  • And most importantly, alexa is a ranking site. It measures websites ranking from 1 to the last. 
  • Alexa considers the site most that has its toolbar and widget in the page. 
Let's build a toolbar now. 

1.  First go to the Alexa and register an account. It takes 2 or 3 minutes. If you already have 
     an account then proceed to the next step. 
2.  Now go to the toolbar creator page.
3.  A pop up window will ask you to enter the toolbar name. Type the name or skip it. 
     You can write a name later.


4.  Now look at the image below. Here you can edit toolbar name and choose a logo. 


5.  Have a look at the Add buttons that drive traffic to your website. There are 4 buttons.  
     Only add the buttons that is necessary for you. Because you can't add 
     all the buttons due to the space limitations. 
6.  Now move to the Add social networking buttons section. Add only the first 2 buttons. 
     Show tweets button is not necessary. Click Next. 
7.  Add buttons for things that your users do everyday. This is the most useful part for 
     the users. I recommend you to add the Personal Twitter and Gmail button. Click Next.
8.  This step let you add an icon for the toolbar. You can either choose an icon made earlier 
     or use the default. I prefer to use the custom image. Click Next.



You're almost done. Publish it to make the toolbar available for download. But how can your visitors will get it? 

Go to the dashboard and click on your toolbar. Then you'll find different shapes and colors. Choose the color and shape as your choice from step 1 and 2. Then add a HTML gadget in your blog by the html code from the step 3. Place the gadget in a part of the page where the visitor can easily find it.


Currently the alexa toolbar works with Chrome, Firefox and IE. Hope it will support more browsers in the future.

Boost your Traffic with Link Collider

How to Backup or Restore Blogger Template?

Blogger let you backup your whole blog template. Keeping a backup copy of the template is specially necessary for new bloggers. If you're a new user you may customize your blog by taking helps from others. But if you make any mistake you may lose your customized blog template. In that case you have nothing to do other than restoring the default template. 

However if you keep a backup copy of your blog template then you can use it in other blogs too! Even you can share the same template with your friends. Besides if you make significant changes of your template and get it back in a previous stage then you must have a backup copy. 

To backup or restore your blogger template follow the steps below: 
  1. First make sure you're signed in on your blogger account.
  2. Then go to design.
  3. Now click on the Template button from the left panel. 
  4. Then click on Backup/ Restore button from the top right corner of the screen.
  5. To download the template, hit on Download Full Template button. And if you wanna restore template then choose previously saved template file.

How to Backup or Restore Blogger Blog?

If you're blogger then you may need to backup your entire blog. If you lose your password or if your account is hacked then you can restore your whole blog in a new account. Or you can export your whole blog if you've a back up copy of your blog. 

To back up your blog, follow the steps below: 
  1. First, make sure you're using the new interface of blogger.
  2. Now go to the Settings option and choose Other.
  3. Hit on Export blog from Blog tools.
  4. Then click download blog.
  5. Now your whole blog will be saved as .xml file.



To restore or import your blog, follow the steps below: 
  1. Go to the Settings option from blogger and choose Other.
  2. Now hit on Import blog.
  3. A window will let you choose the .xml file. 
Now choose the .xml file that you previously download from your blog.

How to Add Flag Counter in Blog or Website?


If you've a blog or website then you may need a flag counter to know where do your site's visitors come from? Or how many countries has your blog reached so far? 

Today I'm gonna share a html code with you. This code will show the total page views of your site with total number of countries, unique visitors per country with flag label. All you need to do is just place an html gadget in your page. Or if you're new, then follow the simple steps below: 

  1. If your site is powered by blogger then sign in to your account. Then go to the layout option from the design. Then click on Add a Gadget where you wanna place this flag counter. Or if you're on WordPress or any other CMS system then follow the steps that let you add an HTML code on your site. 
  2. Then select HTML/ JavaScript. 
  3. Now copy and paste the following HTML code in the box and click save. 
  4. Then click on Save Arrangement. 
  5. Now visit your site and see the result.

Customization: You can customize the above code as below. 
  1. Number of Column: Notice the red colored (columns_6) text of the code. You can use 2, 3, 5 or more. This number determines how many columns will be displayed for showing flag. Maximum 8 columns can be displayed. 
  2. Maximum Flag: Then see the green colored part (maxflags_30). It means what will be the maximum number of flag. You can choose 20, 30, 40 etc. You can choose more than 100. But     I prefer below 30. Because choosing more than 30 flag will increase the loading time of your page.
  3. Flag Label: Now move to the purple colored part (labels_1). Labels_1 means it will show the label after the flag image. For example: US, UK, BD, PK etc. But showing label increase the size of the flag counter. If you wanna hide the label then replace the text as labels_0.
